Vikings used necklaces with animals or beasts biting onto a ring where pendants were hung. This Sterling Silver variant is truly a majestic piece, ending bear heads based on the unique find in Eketorp, Sweden in 2017. The bears bite onto a ring with a Thor's Hammer covered by with lindworm designs, a Thurs rune and a triquetra symbol.
The pendant, the chain, the split ring and the wolf heads are 100% handmade from solid Sterling Silver 925, which results in a piece of fantastic jewelry. The split ring is simple to open and close, which allows for different pendants to be hung from it, and for the chain to be removed and put on easily.
The set includes the articles #2911 (chain) and #2899 (pendant).
The Thurs rune means "giant" and represents the giants defeated by Thor. The triquetra is a pagan symbol related with the Valknut (the warrior's knot), a symbol associated with Odin. It symbolizes Odin’s power to lay bonds upon the mind, turning men helpless in battle, or making them fearless and filled with battle-madness, intoxication, and inspiration.
