Grimfrost's Runic Dice, Elder Futhark

Custom made runic dice set, designed for divination and magical practices.

The Elder Futhark runes were used to invoke and symbolize deities. They were also used for divination and other magical practices, which is evident both in archaeological finds and old Roman accounts. It is not known what exactly these magical rituals looked like. The reconstructed names of the runes may, however, point us in the right direction. A basic chart is sent with the runes to get you started with your divination practices. It is after all Your journey. There is no universal book of answers, only an unlimited number of individual interpretations.

The Elder Futhark consists out of 24 runes divided into 3 groups (aett). This set conveniently splits the aetts into three different colour dice, giving countless of combination possibilities.

THE DICE

Dice 1: Black. First half of aett 1 with two blank sides.
Dice 2: Black. Second half of aett 1 with two blank sides.

Dice 3: Red. First half of aett 2 with two blank sides.
Dice 4: Black. Second half of aett 2 with two blank sides.

Dice 5: White. First half of aett 3 with two blank sides.
Dice 6: White. Second half of aett 3 with two blank sides.
