A set of hand-forged cutlery, with a fork, knife and spoon.

Product number: 1277

Hand wash with mild, soapy water and dry immediately. Rub with a light coat of vegetable oil after every wash to keep the iron seasoned and protected from moisture.

Forks were used during the Viking Age (and earlier) in Scandinavia, even though they weren't common. There are currently 17 finds at the History Museum in Sweden, ranging from cutlery-sized forks to larger pot forks. Here's a link to one find of forks: Fork Find

It shipped and arrived quickly and great was taken in its packaging. going over the look and feel there were no imperfections to be seen and it is of sturdy construction. I was particularly impressed by the fact that the opening of the horn was made of solid metal that was then pinned and secured in place around the mouth of the horn instead of simply a thin metal plate bent around it like other horns ive seen. My compliments and all the best.

Orginal and unique. Used bees wax to seal up any leaks and have used it extensively since. It's a beautiful as it is functional.
