Odin Plaque

It is very hard to find skins treated for outdoor use and most which claim to be so usually have chemicals that cause them to fall apart when wet. I do historical hiking and I took this reindeer skin camping with a wool blanket as my sleeping bag. I woke up covered in snow with -1 degree Fahrenheit windchill. The fur was wet but retained my heat and the size was enough to cover everything but my legs. I let it dry after the hike and it is good to go again. This is not a cheaply made product and is worth the money.

If you are looking to use this for hiking in snow, roll it into your bed back with the fur facing inwards and bring an extra wool blanket/leg wraps to keep your feet warm since it only covers beneath your head and core. I would not use this as a carpet because constant kicking will tear out fur.

It does make a great decoration/home blanket when I am not using it hiking.

The package arrived on time and the fur is very soft.
