Soft merino wool that has been handwoven into a 2/2 twill pattern and plant dyed in cross colors, just as many of the 2/2 twill weaves from the Viking Age. It is the perfect fabric for truly authentic Viking Age clothes.
Twill weave wool has been found across Viking Age settlements in Scandinavia. Finds have also been made in other Viking settlements, such as York, London and Orkney.
