Gungnir Amulet, Bronze

This solid bronze pendant depicts Gungnir (Old Norse: Swaying One), the spear of Odin. 

In Viking Age mythology, Odin is the chieftain of the gods. His spear was fashioned by the dwarven master-crafters.
