General purpose Viking knife forged in steel. The blade is sharpened and the pommel is made out of a carefully crafted raven's head. The grip is covered with stitched leather. The sheath is made from sturdy leather that keeps the knife in place.
The raven is an important animal in Viking Age mythology. Not only is it linked to battle, as a feeder of the fallen, but the god Odin also had two ravens accompany him. Huginn and Muninn, as they are known, acted as his spies and informers.
