General purpose knife of the type that has been used in Scandinavia since the Viking Age, and that is still widely in use. It has a handforged, sharpened carbon steel blade and a handle made from walnut wood and horn. The leather sheath is hand-stitched. Grimfrost is written with runes on the blade.

If you are looking for a small knife with a big bite this is the one. The color and the grain of the handle are great. Once you oil up the sheath it’s true colors come out.

If you want a good, historic yet useful knife then this is perfect. I know it was made recently, but the feel and finish makes you really think you are holding a piece of history. The blade is well forged and with a quick sharpen is razor sharp. The handle is very well made, sits in the hand well and feels great. The sheath in the traditional Nordic style is made from thick quality leather and is very well made. In short a perfect knife!

It’s the second one I’ve bought from the website. So that should already tell you enough but let’s go on. I bought mine, my wife kept carrying it so I needed one to be mine again lol the handle is perfect, I really like the sheen and color it has to it. Recommend definitely for a everyday use knife.

I am very happy with my purchase. Would highly recommend this knife. The sheath is perfect, I just need to oil it. Very impressed with the blade the quality is spot on its solid and hold up to daily use. I have reset a new bevel on the knife I prefer a sharper angle. The hardness of the steel is perfect it holds a great edge.
